Introduction
Below are the latest updates made in the Augury between May and June 2024.
The updates consist of your comments and feedback and include:
Submitting Battery Replacement Updates
Replacing aged batteries on EPs is one of the basic maintenance tasks required to keep our system online.
This solves the issue when, in some cases, Low/Drained battery alerts still appear even after the battery was replaced, during site shutdown, or when there are connectivity issues with the EP.
The battery alert will not be resolved until we receive updated data, which will limit our ability to track what was replaced and the current battery status.
Now, you will now be able to submit an update to notify the platform that the battery replacement has been completed.
This release enables you to mark the required action as done and resolve the battery issue.
In addition, it provides traceability of the battery types and battery replacement dates, which is relevant information for future EP maintenance.
How to access Battery Replacement
Required action Column: "Resolve" button -> select the "Battery changed" action (1)
EP row overflow menu (at the right end of the row): click on the 3 dots and select "Battery changed"(2).
The required action card in the EP side panel is the "Resolve" button (3).
Open the Battery Replacement model.
Select the battery type (4).
Select the replacement date (5).
Access the battery replacement guide if needed from the “guide” link (6).
Submitting the Battery replacement modal will clear out the Required Action.
If the EP has additional connectivity issues, submitting Battery replacement will move it to the "Pending updated data" state until we get updated data to validate/resolve those issues.
This typically takes up to 1 hour (more if there are connectivity issues).
This action will update:
Current battery status
Battery Type
Battery Installation Date
Battery CSV is also updated with new columns of data:
Battery Status
Battery Status Updated Date
Battery Type
Battery Installed Date
