Updated over 4 months ago

Introduction

Below is the latest update made in the Augury platform during January.

The updates consist of your comments and feedback and include:

Machine Health Insights and Experience

  • MTN Optimizations

  • Improved “Observations” form

IoT Improvements and Enhancements

  • Changes to Auto-recovery to reduce storage limitations

  • Node - to - EP Pull connection

Machine Health Insights and Experience

MTN (Machines To Notice) Optimizations

You can now view and monitor all hierarchies in the Machines to Notice tab.

Improved “Observations” form

We updated the “Observations” form workflow and the "Repair" form workflow.

They are now easier to understand and include additional information like Repair reasons, Components and parts, and more.

This will help our reliability team to review, capture, and analyze your data for future reference in the Augury platform.

IoT Improvements and Enhancements

EP-to-Node ratio improvements

Improved connectivity, stability, and HW capacity.

  • We Increased EP to Node ratios from 16 EPs/Node to 32 EPs/Node within existing distance ranges

  • Node pings EP for data instead of EPs having to hunt for a node connection

Added Value:

  • Easier installation - With fewer nodes, customer actions (such as electrical drops) will also be reduced

  • Faster data transmission = higher stability

  • Fewer devices used - Fewer HW alerts- Fewer service calls

  • Enables more flexibility in future sampling regimes

Changes to Auto-recovery to reduce storage limitations

Improved connectivity and stability.

We solved the issue of node storage limitation when losing cloud connectivity for long periods.

The solution includes the implementation of an auto-recovery feature for nodes.

This enables them to self-correct the connectivity after a long period without cloud access while maintaining the most relevant data required to diagnose machines.
