Self-Healing IoT Network & Roaming Endpoints

What is it?
To improve connectivity and IoT robustness, we are launching Endpoint or EP roaming capabilities as a step towards enabling a self-healing IoT network
Our self-healing IoT network will reduce connectivity disruptions and improve machine serviceability.
What’s new?
Augury’s EPs will continuously navigate any disrupted communication links by automatically connecting to nearby, online Nodes when service is interrupted
Any information regarding automatically updated EP connectivity will be tracked.
Future related initiatives include applying self healing connectivity to routers and Nodes (estimated delivery to be determined)
To help improve machine serviceability and reduce connectivity disruptions we are launching these capabilities.
No customer actions are expected as a result of these new developments.
A daily report suggesting machines for increased serviceability/connectivity by moving EPs between nodes will replace the weekly report.
Based on this report, an algorithm is run to update EP and node connectivity automatically to enhance serviceability.
Daily report on automatic EP to node connectivity changes is generated with instructions to revert if requested by the customer to the Augury support team.
