Before You Begin
When entering passwords, ensure capitalization is correct and no whitespace is included by mistake.
Router Wireless Connection
SSID: Augury_Cellular
Password: augurysys1
Router Web Admin URL: https://192.168.50.1
NOTE: You MUST type “https://”
Router Local Login
Username: admin
Password: Augurysys1
NOTE: You must be in the same physical area as the affected device with an adequate Wi-Fi signal strength. These actions must be performed on the router’s local wireless network. Due to the nature of this outage, the device cannot be accessed remotely.
Step 1: Prepare Your Mac
Bluetooth data must be disabled to avoid unexpected behavior while navigating the router’s local interface and applying changes.
Turn off mobile hotspots, VPN, and other network connections.
Close unnecessary applications to avoid interruptions.
Step 2 - Connect to Router Wi-Fi
Open Wi-Fi settings.
Select SSID 'Augury_Cellular'.
Enter password provided by Augury: augurysys1
NOTE: If that password does not work, enter Augurysys1
Confirm you are connected.
Step 3 - Access Web Admin
Open a web browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox).
Go to: https://192.168.50.1
NOTE: You MUST type “https://”
Accept security warning (Proceed Anyway).
Log in with admin credentials: admin | Augurysys1
Step 4: Check Current Firmware
On the Dashboard, locate 'Firmware' under Device Information.
If the current firmware version installed on the device shows "8.3.0s068 build 5014", proceed. If not, stop here.
Step 5 - Apply Upgrade
Select the System button from the Dashboard, and then select Reboot on the left side of the screen.
Select the radio button that says 8.4.1 and click Reboot
If 8.4.1 does not exist as an option, stop here and contact Augury support
Step 6: Verify the Update
Log back into https://192.168.50.1
Confirm the firmware version matches version 8.4.1 selected in the previous step.
Step 7: Reconnect Your Mac
Switch back to your normal Wi-Fi network.
Resume normal operations.
Important Notes
Do not interrupt power during the update.
If the SSID is changed, contact your admin.
Ethernet is recommended if Wi-Fi is unstable.
