You use the Cordant Edge web interface to configure the network and for troubleshooting.
You can access the web interface from a mobile device or from a PC connected to the Internet via a LAN cable.
Connect to the gateway hotspot
1: Enable WiFi on the PC or mobile device and locate the gateway SSID: 'BH_GW_AP_XXXXXXXX'
2: Connect using the security key. Do not use the PIN method.
SSID and passwords can be found in the Inventory GW file
GW Inventory File + Date.
To locate the required details:
a: Open the file and press CTRL+F.
b: Enter the GW SN you want to connect to.
c: On the relevant SN line, you have the
WiFi AP SSID - Combined with the GW SN (e.g., BH_GW_AP _AD24FM0C).
WiFi AP Password - A unique password for each GW.
Access the Cordant Edge Gateway
1: Connect to the Gateway, with a Chrome or Firefox browser, using the default IP address:
192.164.4.1 (for Wi-Fi)
192.168.2.110 (for Ethernet)
2: The login credentials are:
Username: admin
Password: Admin#1!
Configure the network
This is done after mapping the gateway.
1: Open the system manager and select Provision.
2: Provide the required values. Some of these depend on the type of Wi-Fi connection. You can configure:
Wi-Fi
Cellular LTE
A) For a Wi-Fi connection, select the WiFi configuration ClientDHCP.
B) For a Wi-Fi connection, enter the WiFi SSID and password.
Do not change the password. If prompted to do so, re-enter the default password.
C) For a cellular connection, change the Cell APN to wbdata.
All other settings should only be changed when troubleshooting, with instructions from Augury engineers.
Troubleshooting
Connect to the Cordant System Manager. You see a list of the endpoints with their MAC addresses. Each endpoint has a tag, and the pane on the left shows the connection status for each EP.
If the connection attempt fails for any reason (the gateway is not able to connect to the client Wi-Fi or an incorrect password was given), the gateway reverts to AP mode.
Feedback about the connection is displayed in the marked entries:
If in AP mode - the “WiFi status” always shows “connected” and the “WiFi signal” always shows “not applicable”
In client mode, these entries indicate whether the connection to the intended WiFi plant network is stable.
