Replacing the Peplink MAX BR1 Mini

Updated over 4 months ago

When to replace the router?

A router should be replaced when:

  • All basic troubleshooting options have been exhausted(See Basic Troubleshooting Peplink routers guide), and Augury support recommends replacing the router.

  • The router has some physical damage that requires replacing.

What will you need?

  • The router Serial Number.

  • The router mounting location.

How to locate the Router?

  • The Peplink router is usually mounted inside an off-white, Augury-labeled box.

  • The router box will be within a 100ft/30m radius of the Nodes and machines it serves per area, usually mounted next to one of them. And requires a power source.

  • The router can be recognized by its SN; the SN Sticker can be found in various locations, usually on the box or on the router itself (Illustration in the images below).
