Before You Start
Make sure the replacement node is:
Turned on
The node is In Hotspot Mode (Network LED is Flashing GREEN)
Note: in case the Network LED isn't flashing green, follow the below stepsConfigured to the network (online)
Tools Needed

Active power source (110-240 VAC/POE)
Supplied by Augury
Halo Node
Step 1: Setting Up the New Node
Supply power to the Node
Sign in to the Halo Installation App
Navigate to the Installed Tab
Click Add Node
The App will search for nearby nodes that are on and connected to the network and will display the new node's serial number shortly.
Select the relevant node and fill in the information requested. NOTE: the node name cannot be the same, so use a variation such as adding "replacement" to the Node name
Click Activate Node
Mount the Node using your professional judgment on the best mounting method to affix the mounting plate to the appropriate location.
Step 2: Replacing the Node in the Halo Installation App
Navigate to the node that is being replaced in the Halo Installation App
Click on the three dots to the right of the name
Click Replace
Choose the name of the newly created node
Click Continue
Those machines are now linked to the new node
Validate the connectivity status of the new Node and endpoints linked to it
Step 3: Deleting the Old Node Out of the Halo Installation App
Why is this necessary?
If you leave the old node in the app, it will continue to show up on the Needs Remediation reports. Delete the old node after verifying the new node is connected to the endpoints and sending data correctly.
Navigate to the old node in the Halo Installation App
Click on the three dots to the right of the name
Click Delete
Confirm the deletion
