Understanding What Machines to Monitor with Auguscope

Using the Auguscope you will be able to monitor the health of a wide variety of machines including:

We can typically monitor any machine that has stationary rotating equipment. There are some machines that we cannot effectively provide diagnostics for. These include machines with reciprocating parts or piston actions.

We can monitor screw compressors and we can technically monitor reciprocating compressors, but we reccomend avoiding them as the analysis quality won’t meet the Augury standard. Unfortunately we cannot provide diagnostics on scroll compressors.

Any equipment that has magnetic bearings cannot be monitored with the Auguscope, but generally these machines will have magnetic bearings and regular bearings. We can still provide value on the regular bearings, just not the magnetic ones.
