What Auguscope is and Why it Matters

Updated over 5 months ago

What it is

The Auguscope is a portable handheld vibration analysis device used by technicians to take regular readings of a facility's machines. It’s a complimentary solution to the Augury Halo solution and can cover all the machines our Halo sensors aren’t on. It uses vibration and ultrasonic sensors to pick up on up to 8 kHz of vibration and detect mechanical issues at their earliest development.

Once the Auguscope has collected machine data, it is transferred to our cloud platform, where our artificial intelligence and algorithms diagnose the machine’s health, and our trained vibration analysts review the results. You can then review the diagnostic insights on our mobile or web platforms.

Our reporting isn't just an alert system. It's a fully prescriptive overview of the machine's health, and it provides suggestions for corrective actions to take to deliver value to customers, increase critical machine uptime, and increase revenue.

Using the Auguscope as a tool to build a global machine health ecosystem at organizations will stop unplanned downtime, prevent critical failures, and save on operational costs so that we can always count on the machines that matter.
