Vibration FAQs
What is the range of speed detection?
Once the rpm is below 300, the signal-to-noise ratio becomes weaker, but we can often discern the vibration at the shaft turning speed down to 150 rpm. Below 150, the level of confidence to identify vibration directly related to the shaft is low, however, it may still be possible to identify the speed by measuring sidebands around higher carrier frequencies.
