Install Locations
Homogenizers usually have a motor, a gearbox, and 2 crankshaft bearings that drive the driven equipment. The gearbox should be installed the way a typical gearbox does, with 3-4 sensors usually required. Install 2 sensors on the crankshaft, one for each bearing on either side of the homogenizer.
Sometimes the homogenizer bearings are inaccessible or partially accessible. Try to coordinate the installation with operations and maintenance to get access to the bearings.
