An Introduction to the Machine Health Platform

This article describes Augury’s Machine Health platform, how to navigate it, its advantages, and how to view your Machine Health alerts.

Home page overview

Entering via the URL will get you to the home page.

  • On the left-side menu (1):

    • You can filter the desired view using the “Site name” filter.

    • You can use the platform categories when the first is the “Home” page that takes you to the platform dashboard.

    • Other categories available for you are Machine Health, IoT Health, Sucess & Impact, and Reports.

  • Under the “Account management” section (2), you will find the management options that allow you to see (per your permissions) the facilities and buildings, users, and asset management.

  • On the home page, you will see the “Updates” section (3); this is where all the notifications and alerts that require your attention are displayed.These are personal alerts, so marking them as read-only applies to your view.Note that these updates will also be sent to your email and mobile if you configured them under the settings > notification options.

  • On the right side, you will find the “Open tasks” dashboard (4), which displays alerts and statuses.

Under the “Open Tasks” section, you will find the following:

  • MH alerts pending response (5) - All Machine Health alerts under the selected hierarchy. Clicking the “Respond to alerts” link will take you to the “Machine Health” page, where the alert details will be displayed.

  • Router/ Nodes with alerts (6) - Will present issues with IoT devices. Not handling these alerts may affect the monitoring and analyzing the machine's health data.

  • Missing improvement details (7) - Shows Machine improvement events that require your “Impact” input.

  • DT Costs & Hours Avoided (8) - Displays your company's financial and hour savings by handling Machine Health issues.This information is taken from the aggregated data of quantified machine improvements - cost and hours avoidance.

  • Machine Health Status (9) - Displays a pie chart of your Machines’ statuses according to the selected hierarchy.

Machine Health Tab

The Machine Health page default brings you to the “Machines to notice” tab (1) >> Pending Response (2).

  • Here, you will see your Machine Health (MH) alerts (3); note that you will also get these alerts via mail and in the “Updates” area on the platform.

  • They are displayed from the most critical to the least vital alerts.

  • Clicking an alert will take you to the machine page, where you can take action on each alert.

When moving to the “Machines Overview(4) tab, you will first be directed to the default tab, “Machines(5).

Under this tab, you will see all the site’s machines and statuses. Note that these options will only be available when the hierarchy is of type building. You can filter this list by clicking the tabs and viewing the machines' “Repairs,” “Observations, " “Visits,” and “Scope Activity” logged for Machine Health.


Clicking one of the health alerts (6) will take you to the Machine page, where you can view the machine's status and alerts.

On the machine page, you can view the machine’s status (7), a description of the Machine's Health status (8), faults, recommended actions, and Repair status.


From the side panel (9), you are able to respond to alerts and see the machine notifications, status, and events.

IoT Health Tab

Clicking the IoT tab will bring you to the IoT information page.

Under the IoT page, you will find the statuses and information of the IoT devices (endpoints, nodes, routers), including essential alerts that, if left unattended, might cause Machine Health analytics issues.

The Success & Impact tab

Here, you can see the Augury value and understand the impact on your machines.

Our Success & Impact dashboard includes the “Machines improvements” and the “Bookmark” tabs.

The “Success & Impact” (1) metrics are driven by the events your teams have bookmarked with relevant value and impact information from Augury’s platform.

Here, you will see the improvements you achieved by using Augury, meaning a machine with “Machine Health” issues that were fixed and now provides high performance.

Bookmark tab

Clicking the “Bookmark” (2) tab will display the list of the repairs, machine improvements, learning, or notes you think are worth preserving.

Reports tab

Under the “Reports” tab, you will see an overview of your facility, you can view and compare your facilities and hierarchies.

Hovering over a report raw in a selected hierarchy will display the “Overview” button (1). Clicking this button will send you to the “Overview” page.

The “Overview” page (2) overviews the entire machine’s health status, trends, response rate, and more.
