The Halo system comprises two components:
- The hardware that is installed at the customer's site is responsible for collecting and transmitting data.
- The platform side processes the data and provides you with prescriptive diagnostics and insights.
We have three main components at the site level:
- The Endpoint is the sensor that is mounted on the machine.
It takes vibration, temperature, and magnetic samples and uses BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) to communicate and transmit them to the Node (Gateway).
- The Node is a gateway from the endpoint to the cloud.
It communicates with the endpoint via BLE and with the internet (cloud) via WiFi or wired connection.
- The Network refers to the network connection (internet) that Augury can provide using cellular routers or the site network. It can be either wired or wireless.
The platform is made up of two components:
- The server gathers data from the site and combines it with pre-installation business Information, machine parameters, and data collected by Augury’s machine learning AI and big data analytics processing.
- The plant's information is then translated into actionable machine insights and sent to our customers through various applications.
