The mobile app is Augury’s vehicle for bringing the Machine Health experience to the production floor.
In the first rollout, we are focussing on helping you tackle one of the most important parts that make Machine Health work - IoT maintenance.
Maintaining the health of your IoT ensures that you never have to worry about losing Machine Health coverage on your machines.
While we don’t want to replace machine maintenance with IoT maintenance, the Augury app makes it really easy for users on the production floor to review IoT devices that are experiencing connectivity issues and resolve them quickly and easily.
It's a great way to review and resolve IoT issues while you are standing next to the sensors/gateways on the production floor - and not have to carry a laptop around.
How does it work?
Basically the app does three things:
- Review actions needed on IoT devices
- Access the IoT device details and troubleshoot
- Review in-app guides and videos for resolving maintenance tasks such as:
- Replacing an endpoint’s battery
- Replacing or remounting sensor/endpoints
- Replacing nodes or routers
- Addressing simple connectivity issues
The app also lets you keep track of overall IoT health in your site, across sites, or at a corporate level - just navigate to the right hierarchy!
And to sweeten the deal, the app has both dark and light mode :)
