OEM = Optimize Equipment Maintenance

A Reliability Success Manager (RSM) at Augury recalled a recent conversation with a manufacturer who sighed after the RSM mentioned a machine that recently moved into alarm status.  “We’ve got to get the OEM involved in that one.  The implications of that job are huge,” the manufacturer sighed.  Some machines require additional expertise when an issue arises.
