Start your day with Augury by turning on your laptop, getting the coffee brewing, and logging into your platform. Then, dive right into your Machines to Notice tab. Are there any new alerts? Has anything popped up recently?

This tab is one of the most crucial and easily accessible sections within the portal. It offers a snapshot of all your machines, including new alerts, known issues, AI detections, updates, and bookmarked machines.

Note: To get a more thorough overview of the Machines to Notice page read the two knowledge base articles below.

The best way to begin your day with Augury is to start with Pending Response, where time-sensitive information resides. All machines transitioning to alarm and danger alerts will be displayed under the Pending Response tab within the Machines to Notice screen until the site team addresses the alerts. We typically recommend addressing any machines in Alarm within 7 days and any machines in Danger within 3 days.

If you're all caught up with pending responses, shift your focus to Updates. Here, you can review comments, feedback, updates, and observations left by your peers or the Augury team within the past 7 days. This provides a comprehensive view of events and activities that occurred within the system over the past week.

Once you've reviewed the Updates, move on to Known Issues. This section lists all machines in alarm and danger pending remediation. After addressing the alerts via the Pending Response tab, it's time to take action on machines in critical status and schedule remediation. We typically recommend fixing any machines in Danger within a month from the first alert and addressing machines in Alarm during the next scheduled downtime or within 3-6 months following the alerts. If parts aren't available, we recommend ordering them immediately and being prepared to address the asset when time allows.

Next, explore the AI Detection tab, which displays raw AI detections that haven't been pre-screened by the Vibration Analyst. This feature is recommended for users who have gained a certain level of maturity with the system and possess a solid understanding of vibration and predictive maintenance.

Moving on to Starred Machines, this tab serves as your machine bookmark section. Within each machine page, you can bookmark the machines you're responsible for, making it easy to find and organize them in one place.

For an overview of all your currently monitored machines, dive into the All Machines tab. Here, you'll find your machine count and all available machines. You can use different filters on this tab to reorganize machines by Health Status, Last Update, Date of the Alert, Future Repair, and Required Action. This tab provides all the information you need to catch up on your assets, helping you stay organized and gain insight into your current machine health.

Lastly, we strongly advise checking your IoT health regularly to ensure hardware functionality and proper data collection. Please review your IoT health tab daily and address any alerts promptly. Keeping all sensors and nodes online ensures comprehensive visibility of your assets.

In conclusion, leveraging the Machines to Notice tab within the Augury platform offers a comprehensive approach to managing machine health and predictive maintenance tasks. By starting your day with a thorough review of alerts, updates and known issues, you can ensure proactive maintenance and swift resolution of potential issues.

The structured workflow, from addressing pending responses to scheduling remediation and utilizing machine bookmarks, empowers users to effectively manage their assets and optimize performance. With the All Machines tab providing an overview of all monitored machines, users can stay organized and informed about their entire fleet, ultimately enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
