What is the average life expectancy of your batteries?
The average life expectancy of the current EP 2 battery life is 3 years (depending on the sample cycle and environment).
What do we do about premature battery drains?
Augury monitors the health of your battery life consistency. You can also find that information yourself in the platform under the IoT health page. As batteries deplete, replacements will be sent to your facility. Premature drains may be caused by factors such as dramatic temperature changes, endpoints that have been dislodged from their machines and are not near the node, or, in rare cases, a damaged endpoint. Contact your customer success manager to troubleshoot premature drains on a case-by-case basis.
